LWC Spring 2021 Commencement mixes virtual, in-person

Criminal justice and psychology graduate Katie Perkins from Nancy, Kentucky, poses for a photo to be included in LWC's virtual spring 2021 commencement ceremony. Lindsey Wilson College will hold four ceremonies: three in-person ceremonies to be held on Friday, May 7 through Saturday, May 8, rain or shine, at Blue Raider Stadium, 928 Russell Road.

Graduates who prefer to not commence in-person have been given the option to be included in one pre-recorded virtual ceremony which will be delivered via the college's website and social media services at 10amCT, Thursday, May 6. All in-person ceremonies will be live-streamed for guests who cannot attend.

Blooming at the Trabue Russell House

Azaleas are in beautiful full bloom on the west side of the historic Trabue Russell House in Columbia. The Adair County Garden Club is working to assure the rose garden will be flourishing this summer. For information about the Trabue Russell House or to volunteer for the Garden Club, contact the City of Columbia, 270-384-2501.
