Postcards from LWC: Siddhi Londhe

2021-05-18 - Photo courtesy Siddhi Londhe.
By Sabine Eastham, LWC International Student Programs

Meet Siddhi Londhe, who is originally from India but resides in New Jersey. We had the pleasure of welcoming her to our A.P. White Campus last weekend, inviting her and her cohort to participate in our #postcardsfromlindsey series where we introduce our wonderful #ispworldstars -one student at a time.

When asked what was the hardest adjustment she had to make, Siddhi said:" Being alone and working my way to get a good job and lifestyle".... She said she chose to enroll at LWC because of LWC's great reputation and interaction with staff, faculty and the variety of majors to choose from.

The place she finds most interesting is "Mt. Kailash and ManasSarovar in Nepal", which she was able to visit during a family trip. Her favorite tradition from home is celebrating the "Ganesh Festival", which is a major holiday where you "get to eat a lot of sweets and other flavored delicacies through different households; this festival is for 10 days usually."
