Kudzu taking off at a fast pace
2021-08-24 - Adair County, KY - Photo by Donna Rieder. Kudzu can grow over a foot a day. This is why it is so invasive. This growth can become an offshoot vine, or, if it's on soil it will turn into a root system.
This is a 100'+ Kudzu vine, which has a leaf about every 6-8." If you zoom in, you can see the growth at each leaf intersection.
