The 2021 Central Kentucky Welding Classic competition was held on Saturday, May 8, 2021, at the Franklin County Career & Technology Center in Frankfort, Kentucky. Hassan Curtis placed Second in the competition, which earned him a one-half (1/2) tuition paid scholarship to Tulsa Welding School in Jacksonville, Florida. Hassan was a senior welding student under the direction and teaching of Welding Instructor Barney Taylor at the Lake Cumberland Area Technology Center Satellite Campus, and is now 2021 Graduate of Adair County High School.
