Wildflower: Cinquefoil

A small wild rose, spotted growing along the Coppiced Woods Trail in Beckley Creek Park. It looks most similar to a sulphur cinquefoil or rough-fruited cinquefoil at wildflowersearch.org, although totally different from the examples at Wikipedia. The plant can be medicine or pest, depending on who you ask.

Announcing the Crusade totals

The Columbia-Adair County Volunteer Fire Departments ended the 68th Annual WHAS Crusade for Children Telethon Roadblock with $46,500. This is a $9,653.49 increase over our 2020 total.

Barn Lot Theater announces Farce of Nature opening

Barn Lot Theater will debut the hilarious comedy Farce of Nature at 7pmCT on Thursday, June 17, 2021. This will be their first play inside their theater space since the pandemic shut down live performances nationwide in 2020.
