2021-07-12 - Columbia, KY - Photo From Columbia Police Department.
On afternoon patrol in Columbia Thursday, CPD Officer Gary Roy observed several children playing together outside, stopped and gave the children badges. While talking to them and the family, he learned it was one of the children’s birthday. Officer Roy soon returned and presented Alexa, pictured with Officer Roy, with ice cream and popsicles for her fourth birthday to share with her siblings and friends. The entire Columbia Police Department would like to wish Alexa a happy 4th birthday.

By Billy Joe Fudge

As you might or might not have guessed, Sunflowers are in the Daisy family and are a favorite of many songbirds, whether they are found at your feeder or in field or forest!
