Travel: The Atlanta Aquarium

2021-07-20 - Atlanta, GA - Photo by George Kolbenschlag.
George writes, "The Atlanta Aquarium was spectacular! There was no shortage of sea life at Atlanta's aquarium, and you felt like you were in here swimming with them. They keep the sharks well-fed so they leave the other fish and the aquarium's scuba divers alone."

Fairy Ring

2021-07-19 - Adair Co., KY - Photo by Marie Freeman.
Marie writes, "With all the rain it has been a year of fungus fun. Yes pun intended. The fairy ring has returned. Where superstition of years past rumored fairies and elves, even witches dancing, the reality behind these rings is a little less mystical than tales of witches and little people, but still pretty cool. This article will examine the science behind this interesting phenomenon, and answer some common questions: https://www.mushroom-appreciation.com/fairy-rings.html."
