The water tower known as Page Street at the end of Garrett Street, at left, was scheduled to be taken down yesterday, Monday, July 19. Weather permitting, the water tower on Bomar Heights is scheduled to be taken down next week. Watch for traffic delays in both areas of town, and Pine Tree Street may be shut down for a period of time. This is being coordinated through the Columbia Adair Utilities District. Kim Harwood will take over the duties of Executive Director on January 1, 2022. On August 2, Kim will begin training. This year, KSP's photo entry in the Best Looking Cruiser contest features a 2015 Camaro, equipped with a 6.2 liter V8 producing 426 horsepower and a 6-speed manual transmission. The photo was taken at sunrise on a local horse farm in Woodford County.
