I've stayed in touch with her since my mom passed away. She is a remarkable lady." - Vicki Brock Miller Asked on her hundredth birthday how to enjoy a long life, Irene said she believes in eating what you want, keep on working, and read the Book of James. What does she likes about James? She said simply, "he just tells it like it is." She reads the Bible through regularly and reads over a hundred books each year. Amy Tomlinson writes, "We added 238 new cases this week compared to 131 new cases the week prior. We have 246 active cases today compared to 115 last Thursday. We have 12 hospitalized cases today compared to 7 last Thursday. Fortunately, we experienced 0 COVID-19 related death this week. Our 7-day-average incidence rate of new cases per 100,000 is 16.23 today compared to 8.94 last Thursday. So, all in all, another week of sharp increases." In the first pic the top half of the Summit Manor water tower had been removed and the bottom half was removed in the second pic. It had been the highest, most visible part of Columbia's skyline for several decades but as is the nature of persons, places or things; there comes a time when the barker yells "going, going" and drops the hammer - "gone"!
