Coming home, I was so happy to find it on my doorstep. I brought it inside, sat it on the table, and after I put things away, looked at the card. It was for my neighbors up the hill - it had simply been dropped off at the wrong address. I delivered it so it could make their day too, and they could even keep it. For 11 years Albert Gray has driven from his home and work in central Kentucky to Columbia, “grandbaby heaven,” on weekends. His daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Steven Bowman and their four children are the draw cards. At retirement he has just made Columbia his home. He stopped by the Chamber of Commerce office Friday to pick up brochures and maps to help get to know town.
