Mullein is a useful plant

Larry writes, "Please do not spray the mullein plant. There are many uses for this plant. I was gathering leaves off some plants that was on the side of the road coming from Cane Valley. A few days later I saw where someone had sprayed them with weed killer. Ruined my chances to harvest any more. Thanks a bunch (sarcasm)."
