At first glance, there were sweet, curious twins checking out the traveler - until they bolted for the woods and then there were triplets - the third one moved too fast to be included in the picture.

Rick Wilson is pictured bringing the morning message from Gideons International at Columbia United Methodist Church Sunday, August 15, 2021. He said, "God lives in the Bible - it is His Policy & Procedure manual." Gideons are most recognized for distributing free copies of Scripture, paid for by freewill offerings. They distribute worldwide.

Three arrested on drug charges

The Columbia Police Department conducted a drug trafficking investigation Friday, finding drug paraphernalia, suspected methamphetamine, and suspected fentanyl laced Xanax. Three males from Columbia and Russell Springs were taken into custody.

Breck and Rhonda Jones of Louisville asked Little Bit, center, for a keepsake photo at OK Country Cooking in Columbia Sunday. They were passing through after a visit with friends on Lake Cumberland. The home cooking, and service with a big smile, got great customer feedback.
