2021-09-03 - Columbia, KY - Photo courtesy Lindsey Wilson College.
Elementary school friends and Louisville, Ky., freshmen Maia Sapp, right, and Jade Latarte said that applying for college during the pandemic made things slower than usual and a bit "scarier." Sapp and Latarte are living in the newly renovated Phillips Hall, one of the oldest buildings on the A.P. White Campus. Epicurean Kentuckian on the coast

2021-09-03 - South Carolina - Photo by Jane Todd.
This was the fare in Surfside Beach, SC in a summer vacation that didn't allow near enough time for tasting seafood right out of the ocean. For those who love them, there's nothing like the taste of raw oysters on the half shell with fresh squeezed lemon and a dab of cocktail sauce.
