Candidates in 51st District Special Election


2021-09-22 - 51st District of Kentucky .
One candidate from each political party will be on the ballot for the unexpired term of Rep. Bam Carney who passed away recently after a long illness. The 2021 Special Election for State House 51st Representative District, Adair and Taylor Counties, will take place on Tuesday, November 2, 2021.

From left are: Democrat candidate Eddie Rogers from Taylor County; Republican candidate Michael "Sarge" Pollock from Taylor County; and Independent candidate Timothy Gordon Shafer from Adair County.
