ACMS Bus Driver Appreciation

Adair County Middle School students Tristyn Burton, Marley Jo Corbin, Ariana Davis, and Peyton Denton delivered gift bags to bus drivers to show their appreciation. Drivers were treated to sausage biscuits from McDonalds, a free Sonic cheeseburger, a free Frosty from Wendy's and a free drink from Speedway.

Adair County Middle School students recently put together treat bags for AC bus drivers, which included certificates for free treats from lots of local businesses.

Adair County Middle School celebrates AC bus drivers with a message, "We wheelie appreciate you!" Students worked with Ms. Loy to put together a treat bag for every bus driver. They were treated to sausage biscuits from McDonalds, a free Sonic cheeseburger, a free Frosty from Wendy's and a free drink from Speedway. Thank you to these groups for providing the treats. - Deb

KSP: Cundiff and Brown promoted to leadership roles

On October 27, Lt. Gov. Jacqueline Coleman joined Kentucky State Police (KSP) to recognize the promotion of 26 troopers and officers who were promoted since May 1, 2021 including one lieutenant colonel, one major, four captains, four lieutenants and 16 sergeants where commissioned with a mission of creating a better Kentucky through public safety efforts and service to all Kentuckians.

Need a free barn or silo?

The Columbia Adair County Economic Development Authority continues to improve the Green River Commerce Park. The Board is ready to remove extra buildings so they can level the ground. As they considered the best way to clear the acreage of old structures, they are offering a barn, silo and a couple of other structures free to anyone who will remove them in a timely manner. Call the EDA and leave your name and number if interested in more details, 270-384-4401.

Cassady family and friends continue tradition

The 24th Annual Children's Christmas Benefit by the Cassady Family & Friends will be held Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Edmonton Worship Center Gym, 107 Baker Street, Edmonton, KY to help children in need. They are carrying on the tradition started 24 years ago by Arnold & Louella Cassady. Arnold Cassady passed away a few weeks ago but we, their family and friends, continue the tradition.
