The Housing Authority of Columbia would like to share our "Whoville" for anyone that might like to drive by and see the Grinch's Lair, or maybe even stop by and snap holiday pics from the Grinchmas backdrop at our office, located on Carrie Bolin Dive (just behind CVS Pharmacy and the branch Bank of Columbia).

Nutcracker Ballet 2021 starts Thursday

A Different Drummer Dance Academy in Campbellville will be presenting the Nutcracker Ballet at Taylor County High School on December 2-5, with several local children performing. Anna Peterson writes, "These local kids have worked very hard and, while their show is in Campbellsville, it would mean a lot to have local support from Columbia as well."

Classic examples of southern Kentucky Thanksgiving foods are represented in this picture from the Sandidge table in Edmonton - turkey and giblet gravy, mashed potatoes, lima beans, sweet potatoes, baked dressing served in patties, deviled eggs, green peas, and more. The dessert table was separate.

The Willis family is once again inviting everyone to drive out into the countryside on Liberty Road and view their Christmas Lights on The Farm. It will be open until 10pmCT nightly unless inclement weather forces a change in plans. The farm is located at 65 R Holmes Road, Columbia, KY. Santa will be stopping by now that Thanksgiving has passed and Christmas is on the way.
