Trying on a new coat

LWC Director of Civic Engagement Natalie Vickous helps an Adair County Head Start student try on his new coat on Wednesday morning at Adair County Head Start. The child was one of more than 50 students who received a coat during the Coats for Kids program which marks its tenth year with today's donation. The Lindsey Wilson College Bonner Program has helped deliver more than 500 coats over the past ten years to children of low income families.

Coats For Kids Program hits 10-year mark

Director of Civic Engagement Natalie Vickous, Bonner Coordinator Kisha Burton, Bonner Scholar Isabella See and Bonner Scholar Brookley Carrier unloaded boxes of coats and presented them to the children at Adair Co. Head Start this morning for the Coats for Kids Program. Wednesday marks the 10th year in a row that Bonner Scholars have collected coats for children of low-income families. More than 50 children will have a warmer winter season.
