Epicurean Kentuckian: Convenient Cheeseburger 2022-02-10 - Shelbyville, KY - Photo by Pen. It's been quite a few years since Convenient Food Mart operated at the bottom of Jamestown Hill in Columbia, but one of the few remaining stores from the once ubiquitous chain is still in operation in Shelbyville, with the familiar orange and yellow "Convenient" sign still visible on the front. They had to add an "It's" on the front at some point in their 50 years of operation to separate themselves from the old CIA Corporation. These days, in addition to gas and sodas and groceries, the It's Convenient store in Shelbyville does a steady business in prepared foods like massive breakfast sandwiches and the deluxe cheeseburger pictured above.
