Memories of Harry Beard, accomplished skier 2022-02-12 - Columbia, KY - Photo by Doug Beard. Doug writes, "As we are in the Winter Olympics, my father was a high caliber skier!" The text by the photo reads: Harry Beard is pictured wearing the ski jacket he purchased in Europe in the late 1940s. The jacket features patches showing the various placed he skied, including Lillehammer, Norway, the site of the 1994 Winter Olympics.
