LWC Multicultural Retreat: Jbias Dawson and Jerome Jones

Recreation, tourism and sport management freshman Jbias Dawson from Springfield, Kentucky, left, and psychology sophomore Jerome Jones from Savannah, Georgia take part in the LWC's first-ever Multicultural Retreat on Saturday, Feb. 26.

Dubbed "Breaking Down Barriers" more than 50 members of the LWC community attended the retreat that included icebreakers, special presentations, an open forum and breakout sessions allowing participants to talk openly and ask questions about race, equity, inclusion, discrimination and systemic cultural beliefs.
