Miss Aleah Wesley of Pulaski County was crowned Miss Pre-Teen South Central KY at the Miss South Central KY pageant hosted by Taylor Maulden at the Jim Blair Center in Columbia on Saturday, March 12, 2022. Aleah is the daughter of Josh and Laura Wesley from Science Hill, KY. She is an honor roll student at Science Hill Elementary School and plays travel softball for a team based out of Georgetown, KY. Aleah had to answer a question at the pageant, "What is your favorite thing about Pageantry and Why?" Her answer was, "My favorite thing about pageantry is it has helped me gain my self confidence." The Arnolds go adventuring 2022-03-17 - Fairplay, KY - Photo by Veronica Arnold. Veronica writes, "We were out 'going on an adventure' which is way better than just taking a walk! We brought our binoculars and 'spy glasses' with us to spy on the birds! Catch a sight of them before they fly away. Followed the dog trails around the woods. We found a giant tree! It had died some time ago. We couldn't count the rings exactly but estimated it to be over 50 years old. The fallen tree has edible mushrooms in the fall! So the tree still has life to give!"
