Mike writes, "Columbia Stock Farm advertisement in the Adair County News, 6 May 1914. There was a time when the local newspapers were oriented more toward agricultural stories and advertisements than anything else. Most community newsletters contained a little about what farmers were doing at the time of writing, as well as who had sold or traded livestock and crop yields. Times have changed."
