Spring is coming at the Rosenwald School

Spring is arriving this week around the historic Rosenwald School in the Flatwoods of Adair County. Restoration of the Rosenwald Santa Fee/Flatwoods School was led by the Adair Heritage Association before the Corona Virus pandemic shutdown and we hope to hear of events coming in the near future.

LWC 2020 Football Team on the steps of the Capitol building

Lindsey Wilson College football players were honored in Frankfort this week. The 2020 Blue Raiders captured the program's first national title with a 45-13 win over Northwestern (Iowa) on May 10, 2021. The national title came in the 11th season of the existence of the program. Lindsey Wilson started football in 2010.

Members of the 2020 Lindsey Wilson football team was recognized on Wednesday on the Senate floor of the Kentucky Capitol building for winning the NAIA National Championship last May.

KSP: 71 new troopers graduate basic training

On Friday, March 25, 2022, Gov. Andy Beshear and the Kentucky State Police (KSP) announced that 71 cadets have graduated the agency's basic training academy and are now ready to report for duty across the commonwealth with a focus on creating a better and safer Kentucky.

Cadet Class 101 is the largest KSP basic training academy graduating class since 2014.
