Lainey's Diner was located on the Public Square in Columbia in the building which had housed Coomer's Cafe. The specials describe the menu offerings. Congratulations Gabe Coleman, Eagle Scout 2022-03-29 - Downtown Columbia, KY - Photo by Mayor Pam Hoots. After years of hard work and effort, Gabe Coleman, 13, achieved the rank of Eagle Scout after having set the goal for himself as a Cub Scout. His journey was honored and made official in a ceremony Monday night at the Columbia United Methodist Church. Gabe is pictured with his brother Ty, and his mom and dad, Maggie and Mark Coleman. Click and read his paper on the Importance of Citizenship describing how "through Scouting badges like the Citizenship in the Community, the Nation, and the World and through various rank requirements, Scouts study our rights and resources."
