This antique table/desk belonged to authors Janice Holt and Henry Giles who used it for many activities, including writing. It is featured prominently in their 1971 saga, Around Our House, the story of planning and building their dream home at Spout Springs near Knifley, KY. It is pictured in use on the reverse cover with Janice and Henry painting. The table is on loan to the Adair History and Genealogy Center from Junior Giles and family.
