Kicking of the 2022 Little League season

Phyllis writes, "The first Little League game of the 2022 season was kicked off Thursday with City of Columbia officials. Councilman Ronald Rogers did the first Baseball pitch, and Mayor Pam Hoots did the softball first pitch!"

Epicurean Kentuckian: breakfast at church

Renee Smith served up breakfast prepared by her church family at First Baptist Church for their annual Good Friday breakfast. Proceeds from the fundraiser are used to help the church. The menu included country ham, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, fried apples, fried potatoes, biscuits and gravy, coffee and orange juice.

Remembering Shyanna Harmon in Photography Club

Skylar Gilbert, at left, misses her best friend Shyanna Harmon, right, and the good times they shared at times like this when they were together. They both loved photography and dreamed of how it might work in their futures. They were members of the Adair County Middle School Photography Club which paused in Tuesday's meeting to remember Shyanna.
