I told friends that today gorgeous weather was a gift from God for us to enjoy on Mother's day. After days of clouds and rain, it feels extra special."

It's considered an invasive species by some, and also excellent forage for cattle and wildlife by others. This hardy member of the geranium family has been named "herb of the month" for potentially useful astringent properties by a writer for the Taos News.
