Wildflower: Purple Crown Vetch
 2022-05-27 - Central Kentucky - Photo by Pen. According to Wikipedia, "purple crown vetch is commonly used throughout the United States and Canada for erosion control, roadside planting and soil rehabilitation," although it can be tough to control and is considered invasive in some states. The plant is toxic for horses, but considered good forage for ruminants.
