Rev. Bobby Bowe, at left, made the winning bid for the fire pit at the annual Columbia Adair Chamber of Commerce picnic and auction Tuesday. It was presented by Dr. Ronald "Butch" Rogers. Chamber Executive Director Ellen Zornes said, "Butch is a long time member, Board member and volunteer for our Chamber of Commerce. He is always up for anything asked of him . . . even auctioneering.
