Columbia is having its Duck Derby today, Saturday, April 30, at 11amCT as Pre-Derby Weekend kicks off in the state. The duck in this picture is on the Ohio River in Louisville but the local activities will take place on Russell Creek. They'll be dumped and race to a pre-determined marking place. All the proceeds will go towards making an official Paddle Trail kayak launching spot on Russell Creek by the 206 bridge. Comments | Permalink
