Robert writes, "Here our vacationing party is doing a little light "scrambling" to reach a scenic lookout point, to the left of the picture. Since geographically the Northern rim is around 60 plus miles from Kanab, Utah, (nearest town where visitors to the Canyon stay overnight) it might account for it being visited less than the other parks of the Grand Canyon.
Since its popularity is much smaller, then naturally there will be fewer people at the park. On this trail, we only ran into one other couple. Of course we had to stop and chat for a few minutes..." Comments | Permalink
