Give a big shout out to Blake Burriss for his good works! He decided that he wanted to clean up his Green Hills neighborhood, he said, because trash is bad for the environment. This 10-year-old fourth grader at Adair County Elementary School is already recognizing that we each need to take action to save our environment.
The grandson of Assistant Police Chief Charles Greer, he knows about service to his community. His grandmother Sandi says he constantly gets on his golf cart in the neighborhood and comes back with liter that he has picked up. Blake is the son of Jennifer Greer and Joey Burriss.
