Hornets are champions two years in a row

For the second year in a row, the Metcalfe County Lady Hornets are Champions of the 16th District Tournament. The Lady Hornets defeated Clinton County 46-39 to claim the title. This is the first time in 25 years the girls basketball team has won back-to-back tournament championships. Five Lady Hornets were selected to the All-District Team: Braelyn Davis, Anna Grace Blythe, Jaycie Harper, Kassady London, and Aubrey Glass. Comments | Permalink
