Metcalfe County High School junior Wyatt Blythe scored his 1,000th point as a Hornet basketball player on February 17, 2022. Bythe finished the night with 22 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals as Metcalfe went on to defeat Cavera on Senior Night 76-68. Jax Allen was the leading scorer with 26 points.
The 16th District Tournament starts next week in Albany.
The #1 seed Lady Hornets are up first, as they take on #4 seed Russell County on Monday at 6pmCT.
