The Grinch stood guard over one float that drew everyone's eyes as parade entries lined up. This one had been kept under utmost secrecy for six weeks while volunteers worked tirelessly - and it showed - master craftsmanship, near perfect design of the historic Courthouse tower and Public Square in Columbia, good lighting and signage.
