It's the day after Thanksgiving yet the gatherings and great meals continue. Instead of turkey, today we enjoyed baked ham, dressing, green beans, real mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and the star of the show - my Mom Geniece Marcum's cheesy lima bean casserole. Dad, Earl Reid, absolutely detested casseroles and didn't didn't want anything to do with mixing up his foods. Yet everyone else in the family enjoyed this dish and also her grits casserole and requested them every holiday. - LW Comments | Permalink
