Roldcat writes, "Just after takeoff, the shadow of a red shouldered hawk is cast upon a fresh roll of hay in Glens Fork. The hawk was perched atop the roll of hay and was photographed just after it took flight to capture prey in the field about 125 feet away.
The shot was taken through a pane of glass with the subject being approximately 200 yards away out in the field, thus the lack of clarity." Comments | Permalink
