Piecemaker's Quilt Guild creating for Veterans

The Piecemaker's Quilt Guild in partnership with the VFW and American Legion in Metcalfe County will be accepting application for this year's Quilts for Heroes project. In the past 2 years, 15 quilts have been awarded to our local veterans with plans to continue this endeavor every year.
Chairperson Becky London and member Charlotte Atkins are shown with one of last year's quilts. The public is encouraged to nominate a veteran by submitting an application to the American Legion Post 65, PO Box 540, Edmonton, KY 42129 before October 28, 2021.
