The praying hands discovered in the Columbia United Methodist Church Time Capsule were brought back from the Holy Land by pastor Rachel James 25 years ago. She and church treasurer, Jane Akin Keltner, went on a trip to the Holy Land in January of 1995. The trip was led by Bishop Robert Morgan, and several lay persons and pastors from the Louisville and Kentucky Conferences went on the trip.
