New home for City of Columbia maintenance

The former Coomer's Supply building at the corner of Hudson and Walker Streets will be the new home of the City of Columbia maintenance works. City Council approved a 50-50 USDA matching grant providing the $250,000 property for an investment of $125,000 at a special called meeting. The Street Department, Garbage, and Parks and Recreation teams will move here from Minor Street. The City Gas Department will remain in its same location on Tutt Street. Comments | Permalink
