This update on the oil well activity in New Columbia is sent by Vicky Pike who writes, “Texas size 57 inch stroke pump jack being put together this morning by Billy Withers of T and B Drilling and Bill Burness of Burness Drilling. Drilling started this morning on the R F Enterprises property (old Kenneth Wheeler farm). Don’t drop that on your toes Billy. Drilling going on in several spots in the neighborhood this morning.
