Parkway reopens to traffic after all day closure

Checking out my front view at Exit #46 onto the Cumberland Parkway, the wrecked semi was being hauled away after an all day closure of the westbound lanes to Edmonton. The state truck that had been there hour after hour with lights flashing, blocking entry during accident reconstruction, headed out and the first vehicles were allowed onto the reopened parkway right at 8pm. Kentucky State Police Post 15 is investigating what happened to cause the single vehicle accident early Monday morning. Comments | Permalink
