Larry Cooksey shares the landmark "Old Edmonton School" pictured before it was torn down. He wrote, "this is the closing of the old Edmonton School in about 1970. My daughter, Donna Lynn Cooksey Jessie, of the Old School Cafe, was about seven years old. I loved that school." He shares the love of that place with so many who attended or had family who attended the school. My Dad, Earl Reid Marcum, and Uncle Russell Hughes were basketball players when they were students there. Aunt Isabelle Sandidge was one of the teachers. - Linda Waggener Comments | Permalink
