Billy Joe writes, "Sandhills Cranes were feeding between Farris Road and Caney Fork Creek on Sunday afternoon. Without even having seen a weather forecast, the sheer volume of birds (including hawks and harriers) and deer I've seen feeding this weekend would be screaming, 'there is a major snowstorm on the way to our area'. Anyone who has ever hunted small game has seen the instinctual feeding frenzy of both prey and predator in the hours leading up to major winter storms." Comments | Permalink
