Patteson & Stotts ad from 90 years ago

In March 1929, Messrs. J.F. Patteson and M.L. Grissom, founders of Columbia's first modern funeral home, went their separate ways. Shortly thereafter, enterprising young Columbia merchant Dallas Stotts joined Mr. Patteson and the establishment became known as Patteson & Stotts.
It's perhaps somewhat less remembered the two were partners in another Columbia enterprise they operated under the same name, as shown in this ad found in the Adair County News from ninety years ago this week. Comments | Permalink
