Christopher writes, "I was going through some files and found this, my Granny Faye's recipe for her famous-in-Adair-County jam cake, along with caramel frosting directions and ingredients (1 stick butter, 2 cups brown sugar, 1/2 cup milk, 2 to 3 cups confectioner's sugar, and, optionally, 3 ounces of cream cheese).
