Mild winter, January carrots, and very cold hands

Larry writes, "The carrot patch is still going strong. I harvested these January 22. At this point I'm experimenting to see how much longer the rest will survive. The digging wasn't so bad, but the washing off the dirt brought back memories of when I was a kid and going home after throwing snow balls all afternoon." Comments | Permalink
