Master gardener Jane Aaron writes, "As my mother (Jessie Aaron) and grandmother used to say, I believe I have what’s needed for a “mess” of fried green tomatoes! And, maybe some tomatillo sauce! Had a few jalapeños ready to pick, too!
That’s the end of my growing season this year! Tired of needing to cover things when it’s 30 degrees at night! But, I pulled up the grape tomato plant, and will let them ripen in the basement!" Comments | Permalink
