The “grands” and I took a day trip to Burkesville, KY Saturday. This was their first time to just roam around and enjoy the beauty of this quaint little town. Their great grandparents are from Burkesville and I feel that the children should know about their ancestry. This was the first time for them on Alpine Hill. They loved it and Brooks felt comfortable enough to sing us a song while we were there. Definitely worth a drive down especially this time of year. - Jane Comments | Permalink
