Flags tell the story of October winds

Flags whipping in the wind told the story of weather change coming to downtown Thursday afternoon. Before the sun went behind the clouds, showers of yellow maple leaves took no time to cover our freshly mown grass. The cats basked on the sun-warmed concrete floor of the carport. Mama Cat rolled to her side and jerked to a surprise by the sudden movement of her tail. She grabbed it playfully as if to start a tussle, then seemed to remember she’s a grown up and it'd been there all along. She relaxed back into the warmth of her sunny spot. Comments | Permalink
